Getting Here

When arriving in the Joint Base Charleston area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Charleston International Airport which is located about 11 miles from the base. Taxi service is available from the airport but no shuttles or mass transit. If arriving from the Charleston International Airport, take the access road to Michaux Parkway and turn right. Continue to Dorchester Road at the intersection with Dorchester Road and turn right. The main gate to Joint Base Charleston is located about 1.5 miles further up Dorchester Road.
